    Easily manage your Google AdSense advertising.

    (Example of AdSense on the forum list)

    Features:
    • Ads are displayed in forum list, forum view and thread view.
    • Ads are displayed top and bottom.
    • Options page allows disabling ads from specified areas, forums and threads.
    • User Group Permissions determine which user groups see ads.
    Installation:
    1. Download Andy-AdManager-1.4.zip and unzip it.
    2. Copy the src/addons/Andy/AdManager directory to your server.
    3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.
    Get your AdSense code (Leaderboard):
    1. Log into your Google AdSense account.
    2. Click My Ads.
    3. Click Ad units.
    4. Click New ad unit.
    5. Click Text and display ads.
    6. Showing = Horizontal banner
    7. Name = Leaderboard
    8. Ad size = Horizontal banner / Leaderboard
    9. Save and get code.
    Get your AdSense code (Large Mobile Banner):
    1. Log into your Google AdSense account.
    2. Click My Ads.
    3. Click Ad units.
    4. Click New ad unit.
    5. Click Text and display ads.
    6. Showing = Horizontal banner
    7. Name = Large Mobile Banner
    8. Ad size = Large Mobile Banner / Large Mobile Banner
    9. Save and get code.
    Template edit:

    Edit the andy_admanager template and update the following four lines:

    6,7,18,19

    User group permissions:

    Set the appropriate user group permissions, typically the following two user groups are set to Yes.

    Registered
    Unregistered / Unconfirmed

    Questions & Answers:

    Q: Should I exclude forums which guests are not able to view?
    A: Yes.

    Q: Should I exclude threads which Google finds inappropriate (e.g. gun threads)?
    A: Yes

    Q: Are ads shown on soft deleted threads?
    A: No.
