How to port forward on a router
Hello this can be done on most routers, it will help with streaming issues eg buffering, freezing, stopping etc, due to the firewall on ivp4 potentially blocking the stream data.
1: Login to the router eg 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1( depends on the model of router)
2: Go to settings then firewall then select add a rule again depends on the router some do vary.
3: Add a rule for http assign to your routers default gateway LAN ip (the same as what you logged into)
4: You can assign where to start on some routers eg the first ip eg 192.168.0.2 then assign to the last ip on your LAN (sometimes the ip address of devices can change due to lease time on the DHCP server so they may change )
5: Add further rules for port 80 then if required do the same for https and 443
6: allow incoming connections for TCP and UDP (this maybe in a different section again depends on the router)
7: disable ivp6 firewall and server.
7:Save then reboot the router, hopefully this will help anyone with issues.
