Tutorial Installing Zabbix 4.4 on Debian 10 Buster ( Again A Network open source Monitoring tool)- Step-By-Step
Zabbix is an enterprise-level, open source solution. Zabbix is software that monitors various parameters of the network, servers and health of services. It uses a flexible notification mechanism that allows you to configure e-mail alerts, among others, such as Telegram, for almost any event. Notifications allow you to react quickly to problems in the environment. Zabbix offers excellent reporting and visualization capabilities for stored data. This makes Zabbix the ideal tool for capacity planning.
Requirements:
* Debian 10 (Buster) -> Clean Installation
* Apache PHP MariaDB phpMyAdmin WEB server on Debian 10 Buster “LAMP”
1.For installing Zabbix we will include the official Zabbix repository.
2.Version 4.4
3.Update the repository and perform the installation
4.We are going to create a database called zabbix and a user also called zabbix in MariaDB. (By default the MaraiDB package in Debian uses unix_socket to authenticate the user's login, which basically means that you can use the operating system username and password to log in to the MariaDB console. )
Don't forget to change the password ......
5.Import the standard table and data schema. (It takes some time!)
6.Enter the password for your zabbix user created in the previous step to import the tables.Edit the zabbix_server.conf file to provide the data to connect to MariyaDB.
Look for # DBPassword = uncomment and seven your password.
Adjust the timezone for your region
8.We link the settings and restart apache.
9.Starting the Zabbix Server and Agent together with the system startup.
10.Access in your browser http: // seu_ip / zabbix
