If you physically have the MAG box no... you wouldn't be able to change the MAC Address in order to try another MAC.

If you use the "StbEmu pro" app for Android you can simulate a MAG box, example MAG250. There is a menu where you go to choose the type of MAG you want to emulate... even the MAG524.
