On a rooted device the hosts file after the Patcher's use come up as the following:

127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
::1 ip6-localhost
127.0.0.1 tivimate.b4a.io
127.0.0.1 parseapi.back4app.com

Please can I get some likes on this comment so that I can see the video for non-rooted devices?

Thank you for this bud do you also know how to block the host on a non rooted device without using a dns apk
I think that way is more stable to use it without worries that the apk stops

You want to achieve DNS filtering. You can use various methods to achieve this through either an external device like a raspberry-pi with pi-hole, or router-based with openwrt and link-blocking or cloud-based with an AWS free-tier pi-hole. All would work for your needs, without disassembling the Tivimate apk.

Hmm.. not sure how long it take.
Anyway i have installed it in 2 rooted device and 4 non rooted (in same day) and not all gone broke in same day

Hi,

Thank you, working like a charme on Sony Android TV.
I did use ADB in order to side load the apk, not sure if it's clear to everyone but ADB wifi isn't necessary if your box or tv is connected using cable on the same network.
