erm,... Logosys 6.12 and above...

I am looking for a playout that can be used from a laptop, in that I do not need to purchase a declink or aja vid card to have playout via the HDMI. There is a software by Datavideo that had playout from laptop (via HDMI) but its very limited...

@lenby if your content or channel playout is linear and thematic, you may not necessarily need to use a laptop except you are doing a live broadcast. Setting up a Virtual Playout should help address your need.

l use Marsis Playout in the cloud. l upload my scheduled playlist via FTP

ahh,,these parts, uploads take forever...better for me to have all content onsite then playout accordingly..does your marsis version permit onboard hdmi playout?

Uploads can be scheduled for nightly, except where you are internet connection is a challenge. Marsis can see your HDMI connection when configured. For channel stability, l prefer cloud playout in that l do not bother about power, connectivity and system downtime. Also its easier to manage anywhere.
