I tried this player and the first results are good.
The player also works in a virtual PC.

The proxy function is very useful, it allows you to watch streaming by adding a proxy address, in case the server has GEO restrictions.

never scan in virustotal zip file , you need unzip before , cause you can't see virus , it(s same with zip file who have password like 123 or another , be careful at that , and it's free player but you sell , only 2 tips but that not free

yes the program can record live stream and can download vods and save it in the same folder then application under folder download
ps: for vod if you interrupt download before end they not saved it

you can see in totalvirus that is only 6 of 70 antivirus its mean false detection
i don't know why when compile python they some times detected as trojan
some explication i found in forums is because i don't have a known signature

i recompiled and now there is only 2 false detection normaly windows no more detected as virus
