If the MAGs lose the portal settings after updating the device to the latest version of the system software and if this does not allow the users to add any portal addresses to the device.
In case of blocking infomir, you can use the following methods to unblock your MAG units.
In this guide we will show you how to downgrade the system software to a version that works with IPTV portals or install an image file that takes back the port settings and IPTV channels via a USB device if the device is blocked by infomir and if you are no longer can receive some IPTV channels.
Important message: You must turn off the AUTO UPDATE function for your MAG device. The Auto Update feature must be turned off from the settings, otherwise it will cause problems.
Blocked devices by infomir (MAG 250-254-256-322-324)
If your device is blocked by infomir, you can use the image files below to restore your access to IPTV channels again.
Start by downloading the image file based on your device model via the links below and copy it into a USB flash drive. Important Note: Make sure the USB flash drive is of decent quality and the storage capacity is at least 16 GB.
USB device must meet the following requirements:
1. It must be FAT32 file system format.
2. If there is more than one partition on the USB device, use the first one.
* Note that you must turn off the AUTO UPDATE function for your MAG device *
How to install the noblock image file
For MAG250-254:
On the computer (USB device preparation)
Do not use the upper case to name folders or image files.
IN MAG
1. Connect the prepared USB device to the STB socket.
2. Open System Settings ⇒ Software Update.
3. In the Update window, select Update Method = USB. You can see two new options:
5. If the file has been discovered and can be read, you will see the software update window.
6. In the software update window, you can see descriptions of the software versions: the current version (used in STB) and the new version (available on the USB device).
7. To start updating, click Update (F1) in the Program Update window.
8. Wait for the update to finish. The status of the software update is displayed with status fields and comments.
9. After program loading, STB will start automatically.
For MAG256:
On the computer (preparation for the USB device)
Do not use the upper case to name folders or image files.
On MAG
1. Connect the prepared USB device to the STB socket.
2. Open System Settings ⇒ Software Update.
3. In the Update Update window, Update Method = USB. You can see two new options:
5. If the file has been discovered and can be read, you will see the software update window.
In the software update window, you can see descriptions of the software versions: the current version (used in STB) and the new version (available on the USB device).

For MAG322-324:

Note Do not turn off the STB or disconnect the USB device until the end of the update.

On MAG
1. Connect the prepared USB device to STB. You can use all USB connectors on STB: both rear or front.
2. Open Settings → System Settings ⇒ Software Update.
3. In the Software Update window, specify Update Method = USB. You can see two new options:
5. If the file is detected and readable, you will see the Software Update window.
10. Select the following operation after comparing current and new versions:
To start the update press Update (F1).
11. Wait until the update process is complete. After the update is completed, STB will start automatically.
Note. Do not turn off the STB or disconnect the USB device until the end of the update.
The above example is for devices that no longer have access to IPTV channels and you can, by following the instructions above, restore access to IPTV channels.
If the device was not listed in the article so far, you can skip the no block update and simply downgrade the device to the factory image and continue bypassing the infomir block. In the guide below we will show you how to do it.

MAG250-254

On MAG

If the file is identified and readable, you will see the software update window.
The Software Update window provides descriptions of the software versions: the current version (works in STB) and the new version (available on the USB device).
5. To start the update, click Update (F1) in the Program Update window.
6. Wait until the update process is complete. Program update status is displayed using status fields and comments.
When the software is updated, STB will restart automatically.
MAG322-324-349-351
On the computer (USB device preparation)
1. Download the imageupdate file from the links above.
2. Insert the image update file into the USB drive directory mag <model>. For example, you need to create a folder inside the root of your USB flash drive and name it based on your DEVICE MODEL, for example. mag322 or mag324 etc, and then copy "imagefile" in that folder.
Step 1: Set up the system recovery tool
To do this:
1. Turn off (disconnect power supply) STB.
2. Press and hold the Menu button on the remote control (it should be directed directly to STB).
3. If you are still holding down the menu button, the STB unit will turn on (connect the power supply).
4. Wait for (~ 10 seconds) the System Recovery Tools menu.
5. Release the menu button.
Step 2: Go through this path:
Select Upgrade Tool ⇒ Upgrade Software ⇒ Using USB ⇒ Yes.
The program update status information is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Wait until the update process is complete. After the update is completed, STB will start automatically.
Note Do not turn off the STB and disconnect the USB device until the end of the update.
Do not use the upper case to name folders or image files.

The above example is for devices that no longer have access to IPTV channels and you can, by following the instructions above, restore access to IPTV channels.
If the device was not listed in the article so far, you can skip the no block update and simply downgrade the device to the factory image and continue bypassing the infomir block. In the guide below we will show you how to do it.
