I requested trial license but I could past it in the box because it didn't allow me to do so I couldn't copy and past

New version allow you to paste with mouse or keyboard

I tried the latest version V 1.1.2 and the copy/paste menu was added... very useful, the version was added to the program bar.

You don't have the 64x version - you have the 32-bit version of VLC installed.
Do a check.
