I asked the same recently about the 4K(unrooted) but no confirmations have been proved.
It appears that it does not work on the 4K.
I have a couple of android emulators that I may test it on.
BTW, what version of android-tv did you install it on? Is it still premium after a week or a month?

Still works after 1 week on AndroidTv 11. Too bad that there is nothing for the Fire Stick.

Great post. No detailed instructions in the zip file.
Windows Defender goes mad.
1 exe file that does nothing.

Works like a charm make sure you guys block the 2 domains tivimate.b4a.io, tvmate.b4a.io on your network (or install the included dns66.apk and add the domains) to prevent the app from calling home and losing the patch.

For those who are having issues try the following

Ensure USB/ADB debugging in developer options is enabled on your ATV device.
1. adb connect YOUR_ATV_IP:5555
2. adb logcat (if you see your ATV device logs output, then you're connected)

If running the included run.bat is not working correctly check the above. If not looking at the file what it basically does is using the adb debugging tool to execute them manually in the following in this order:

adb uninstall ar.tvplayer.tv
adb install hook.apk
adb restore ar.tvplayer.tv.ab (confirm the restore prompt on the ATV)
adb install -r tivimate.apk

That should do it

Note for Mac/Linux users can download platform-tools from

and copy the 3 files needed (hook.apk, ar.tvplayer.tv.ab, tivimate.apk) to the platform-tools folder and run the above commands.

But I realize that the app automatically update to 4.7.0.
So I disabled Google play store automatic app update then I have reinstalled everything with adb.
I will see in few days if it resolve the problem.

I lost premium within one day on 4.7. What about 4.6.1 is it still working?
